Pelham 123 es una remake de una película de 1974, llamada así en honor a uno de los trenes de Nueva York, cuidad en la cual siempre los escritores se inspiran para que sucedan todos los cataclismos mundiales (sorry Henry). Viendo un poco los avances, la película me resultó un poco similar a la muy buena pelicula interpretada por John Travolta llamada Swordfish (esa explosión en el comienzo de la película en el cine, no me la olvido mas).
Cuando me imaginé esa similitud, no fué hasta que la ví que se me hizo realidad semejante paralelismo: Un terrorista interpretado por Travolta, lleva a cabo un secuestro con rehenes y tiene todo muy fríamente calculado, desde principio a fin.
Acá es donde entra en el secuestro del tren, Denzel Washington para actuar de intermediario «forzado», el cual entra en un juego propuesto por los secuestradores de un tirar y aflojar constante, pero siempre con el control de Ryder (Travolta) que no se le escapa de las manos.
La película no es mala, trata del secuestro del tren Pelham 123 para pedir rescate por los rehenes. Se pone un poco repetitiva y cursi, al final me quedé mas que indignado con lo sucedido ya que no me esperaba un desenlace así.
Los protagonistas son reconocidos, Travolta actúa muy bien aunque Washington con su cara de poker nunca me va a terminar de convencer. Acompañan muy bien John Turturro y James Gandolfini.-
Mi puntaje Bro. es un 6, en IMDB le dan un 6.9 unos 6000 votantes.

Seeing a little progress, the film I was a little similar to that played by John Travolta Swordfish call (the explosion at the beginning of the film at the cinema, was unforgettable.
When I imagined this similarity, it was not until I saw that made me really like parallelism: A terrorist played by Travolta, is carrying out a kidnapping hostages and has very coldly calculated, from beginning to end.

The actors are recognized, although very well acted Travolta Washington with his poker face never going to end up convincing. Accompanying well James Gandolfini and John Turturro .-
